I wrap each proprietary butyrate bobbin with 42AWG plain enamel wire, winding strictly by the exact number of turns with meticulous tension management rather than relying on a generic machine timer. This proprietary winding secret and the best materials available guarantee consistent vintage geometry and a rich, woody midrange that makes every single note feel alive. Because I wind strictly by turns, the DC resistance settles beautifully around 8.0kohms for the bridge and around 7.6kohms for the neck, giving you a tight, punch that sits perfectly in any mix without ever getting muddy.
