This set is wound using 1959 spec 42 Enamel wire which results in a bit thicker coil, and a higher final resistance. Same alnico 5 magnets as the Tribute set. This set will really push the amp. This set has a nice thick and warm tone, perfect for hot blues or hotter rock, and great for lighter solid body guitars. These are at the high end of output in the "Patent Applied For" range, but still clean up nicely with volume control.
