Introducing the Sheptone Strat Harness. Stock look with serious versitility. With the push/pull pushed, and the midrange control in the center detent, your strat will perform as if it was stock. Comes to you completely wired with pickups and ready to bolt on to your pickguard, just solder the two jack lead wires and you are ready to play.

Volume Control- CTS audio w/treble bleed kit (retains highs as you turn down)
Midrange with center detent (Special custom taper CTS)*
Tone Control- push/pull (used as a Neck ON switch)**
with an Orange Drop 0.047 Cap
Includes Switchcraft output jack (requires soldering 2 leads for installation)
Optional: Steel baseplate on Bridge Pickup to add 15-20% more low and mids

*Midrange Control:
The control is bypass in the center detent (5 spot)
As you turn the knob down from 5 to 0 this control pulls the midrange frequencies out while leaving the high and low frequencies intact. When set approximately between 2 and 3 I find this to really emphasize the signature "Mark Knopfleresque" bell like strat tones when using a clean tone. The tone has an almost "acoustic" like quality. When you turn the control from 5 to 10 you get a slightly thicker sound wtih a bit more of a midrangy honk to it.

**Pull out the P/P pot and you will activate the Neck pickup.
Example:
If you are in position 1 and pull out the p/p to activate the neck pup, you now have neck and bridge together. (Tele sound with bridge plate installed)
Move the switch to the 2nd position and you have all 3 pickups at once. (Put mid control on 2-3, NICE QUACK)

With all this, you keep the "VINTAGE" or "STOCK" look AND it all fits in your Strat with NO mods to the body,
no batteries to change and the tone combinations are endless. You can really get just about any strat tone you want from this setup.

This harness uses 500K pots so it is best suited for the hotter AB custom set.
